Mary Farias

With more than 20 years’ experience in learning and development, Mary brings a diverse perspective based on experience as training director of a global accounting/consulting firm, roles as a training managers in both accounting/consulting firms and in academia, and multiple past appointments managing various leadership development initiatives. She has also held roles in instructional design, communications, facilitation, instruction, and curriculum design.

Mary spent most of her career in her hometown of Chicago working in the fields of accounting, consulting, and global banking. She moved to New Mexico in 2015 and has worked at UNM as a Senior Organizational Development Consultant. She is currently Senior Training Manager at Project ECHO, a part of UNM’s Health Sciences Center.


Debbie Howard

Deb is Principal at Connect Solutions, providing training, facilitation and Organizational Effectiveness solutions to both private and public organizations.  Previous responsibilities include leading a Level 1 Research University Training and Organizational Development organization and spearheading Organizational Development Division efforts for a Fortune 500 company.  

Deb has extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of adult learning, experiential learning, leadership development and change management.  She has experience in manufacturing, high tech, and higher education sectors and has held various leadership and management roles in IT, Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness and Change Management.

Deb earned her B.B.A. in Management and an M.S. in Organizational Development and Change Management. Her professional certifications include Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).   She has served on the boards of the New Mexico Association for Talent Development and the American Business Women’s Association in various roles.  Deb also served as an HRMA Conference Committee chair.

Bill Meador

Bill Meador is currently an adjunct faculty member at Central New Mexico Community

College. He teaches U.S. History both online and on-ground. Bill moved to Albuquerque in 2001 after more than 24 years in the U.S. Air Force. He’s a graduate of the Master’s track of the Organizational Learning and Instructional

Technologies (OLIT) program at The University of New Mexico. Bill is also a board member with TEDxABQ, an independently organized TED event, and he has been a volunteer with TEDxABQ since 2011.

Laura Suazo

Laura is a CAD Specialist in the Advanced Technologies support group at Bohannan Huston, with over 29 years of support experience in virtually every aspect of land development, engineering and surveying consulting. 

Laura earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology and Training from University New Mexico, and holds an AAS in Computer Aided Drafting. 

Laura leads the BH CAD Users Group and is an active member and officer of Journal Center Toastmasters.  In addition to her responsibilities for Help Desk support to the BHI technical staff, CAD standards implementation, data management, and production workflows for CAD and GIS applications,

Laura is the technical lead for the BH Institute, Bohannan Huston’s internal workforce development initiative, and coordinates all aspects of technical learning solutions for the BH technical staff.

Ryan M. Baltunis

Ryan Baltunis is an accomplished Instructional Designer and experienced educator with an array of skills technology, curriculum design, eLearning, consultation, and customer service. He has a masters degree in Organization, Information, and Learning Sciences through the University of New Mexico.

Vice President of Operations/Finance

Charles Hinson

As a seasoned Learning, Performance and Organizational Development leader, Charles’ diverse background includes more than 20 years experience as a global learning and development executive, IT QA/Testing manager, business technology consultant, instructional designer, instructor, and facilitator.

As Global Head of Training for a leading financial services firm in New York, he built the learning infrastructure for and led a team of learning & development professionals responsible for global deployment of learning initiatives.

Prior to that, he led the IT QA/Testing Team at a major insurance carrier managing quality assurance and testing across multiple software applications.

Currently, he is Organizational & Professional Development Specialist at University of New Mexico Hospitals aligned with patient safety and quality of care initiatives.

Charles has a B.S. in Business Management, a M.A in Organization, Information, and Learning Sciences (OILS) from the University of New Mexico, and a certificate in Adult Learning from Teacher’s College, Columbia University of New York.

Ken Everingham 

Ken Everingham, president of KFE Consulting (Santa Fe, NM), provides training and organizational

development services in the areas of management/leadership, team effectiveness, performance,

creativity and innovation, process improvement, Myers-Briggs, and strategic planning. He has more than

30 years experience in training, organizational development, and human resources.

After completing a Master’s degree in Counseling from George Mason University in Virginia, Ken began

his career as a counselor and instructor at Northland Pioneer College in Holbrook, Arizona. Returning to

the Washington DC area, he counseled students at American University and George Washington

University on their career decisions and job search strategies.

Earning a second Master’s degree in Human Resource Development lead Ken into the training, OD, and

human resources field, where he worked in the financial, telecommunication, defense, and consulting

industries. Moving to Tucson, AZ Ken worked in a variety of training and organizational development

capacities in the judicial, medical, defense, and higher education fields.

Ken served 2½ years as a Board of Directors member with the Greater Tucson Chapter of the American

Society for Training and Development (ASTD), including the position of president.

Kellie Tinnin

Kellie is President of Kellie Tinnin Consulting, LLC, a learning and development consulting firm that serves small businesses and small non-profit organizations in the southwest US. Kellie is the former Training Administrator for the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS and has an extensive background in real estate, marketing and business. She is also skilled in instructional design, adult learning principles and career development. Kellie also has a strong business background and holds a B.S. in Business from Northern Arizona University and a M.A. in Organizational and Human Resource Development from the University of New Mexico.

Gretchen Price

Gretchen Price is the Training Coordinator at HB Construction. Through a 20+ year career spanning banking, higher education, and healthcare, she has served in multiple executive leadership roles. Yet in order to pursue her lifelong passion, Gretchen pivoted to a new field: learning and development. She received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Missouri – Columbia, is currently in the process of becoming a GiANT Sherpa, and hopes one day soon to begin her master’s program in Organizational Development. Gretchen is a firm believer in giving back to the community. She volunteers with numerous organizations in New Mexico.
