Mary Farias

With more than 20 years’ experience in learning and development, Mary brings a diverse perspective based on experience as training director of a global accounting/consulting firm, roles as a training managers in both accounting/consulting firms and in academia, and multiple past appointments managing various leadership development initiatives. She has also held roles in instructional design, communications, facilitation, instruction, and curriculum design.

Mary spent most of her career in her hometown of Chicago working in the fields of accounting, consulting, and global banking. She moved to New Mexico in 2015 and has worked at UNM as a Senior Organizational Development Consultant. She is currently Senior Training Manager at Project ECHO, a part of UNM’s Health Sciences Center.

Ryan M. Baltunis

Ryan Baltunis is an accomplished Instructional Designer and experienced educator with an array of skills in technology, curriculum design, eLearning, consultation, and customer service. He has a masters degree in Organization, Information, and Learning Sciences through the University of New Mexico and used to work in their Employee and Organizational Development department. 

He spends his days now at Sandia National Laboratories as an Organizational Development Professional. He also teaches in the Teacher Education (TLOL) department at CNM. Ryan is always looking for the next big thing that's going to hit education and organizational development, and constantly keeps us on our toes!

Beth McLeod

Beth McLeod has over 7 years of experience in online teaching and learning as an instructor, program director, and online course design instructor. More recently, Beth has pursued instructional design, and in 2021, Beth earned her second master’s degree, a Master of Education in Instructional Design and Technology from the American College of Education. Beth’s favorite part about instructional design is the ability to be creative while problem-solving to meet the needs of learners. While she still enjoys online teaching, Beth’s more recent roles include contract instructional design work, and a full-time role as an Instructional Designer with Honeywell’s New Mexico Operations. She continues to pursue continuing education and believes that learning is a lifelong process.

Mary-Bernadette Garza 

Mary-Bernadette Garza received her Master’s degree in Organizational Learning and Instructional Technology (Concentration: Knowledge Management) from the University of New Mexico and holds a B.S in Electronic Commerce from Our Lady of the Lake University located in San Antonio, TX. Her career path allowed her to explore different domains such IT, project management, quality management, knowledge management, and in more recent years learning and development. Her exposure included industries in the private sector, academia, and government. Prior to joining PNM Resources in 2018, Mary-Bernadette held various positions at Sandia National Laboratories over an 18-year span. Her greatest passion is to develop solutions where people, processes, and technology converge and result in the facilitation of desired personal and organizational performance.

Stephanie Stancil 


Stephanie Stancil, PhD, is the Training Manager for the Incorporated County of Los Alamos in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Formerly Instructional Design Faculty at Northland Pioneer College and Enterprise Training Manager for the City of Raleigh, Stephanie is passionate about professional education and working graduate students.

Gina Montoya


Gina Montoya transitions from a 20+ year career in the Cyber Security industry for the federal government to the new world of Organizational Design. A specialty of Gina’s is quickly gaining requisite knowledge of a company's products, services, and industry based on a business or operations perspective then suggest opportunities for process improvement, deliver team building techniques, create workshops, exercises to enhance the culture. She's proven to deliver impactful results on multiple projects. She offers superior customer service to both internal and external customers with prompt responses in a professional manner. Gina holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer/Management Information Systems from Park University and Master of Arts degree in Organizational Information and Learning Sciences, concentration in Human Resources and Organizational Design. She currently is an Information System Security Manager for Galapagos, LLC and supports the United States Space Force on Kirtland AFB.
