    Provide an integrated program of organizational-wide management education services through the Human Resources Department. Direct activities associated with transforming and maintaining the desired organizational culture. Oversee the provision of employee training and organizational development and the preparation and management of the departmental budget. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. No patient care assignment.

    Accountability:

    ·  STRATEGIC PLANNING - Integrate the mission, values, and strategic objectives of the Hospitals into appropriate programs and initiatives

    ·  STRATEGIC PLANNING - Participate in the development of long range organizational development goals and strategic plans for the Hospitals

    ·  EDUCATION - Oversee and ensure the development, implementation, and evaluation of all assigned educational and staff development programs

    ·  CULTURE MANAGEMENT - Direct activities to foster positive cultural change and hardwiring throughout the organization

    ·  CULTURAL PROGRAMS - Develop programs and direct their implementation to enhance the desired culture of the organization

    ·  COMMITTEES - Oversee the formation and direction of various committees to engender desired organizational culture outcomes

    ·  STANDARDS - Collaborate with administrators, area directors, and others to establish educational standards and agendas for the clinical components of assigned areas of the Hospitals

    ·  PERFORMANCE - Develop standards of performance, evaluate performance, initiate personnel actions or make recommendations for personnel actions as appropriate

    ·  QUALITY - Maintain continuous analysis and evaluation of the department by use of staffing and program utilization studies, CQI monitoring, sub-departmental review programs, budget revisions, and performance evaluations

    ·  QUALITY - Oversee and direct the systematic evaluation of the impact of training on quality indicators

    ·  MARKETING - Plan, organize, and direct the marketing and promotion of department services and programs

    ·  ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT - Oversee consultation to management and staff regarding organizational development for assigned areas or fields

    ·  SERVICE TEAMS - Supervise the development and work of service teams

    ·  SUCCESSION - Provide consultation on succession planning and talent management

    ·  SUPERVISION - Develop efficient organizational structure, supervise employees - select, terminate, train, educate, correct deficiencies, perform appraisals, issue discipline, counsel, schedule work assignments; encourage staff teamwork and growth initiatives

    ·  BUDGET - Develop and administer the division's annual budget; monitor and approve expenditures

    Education Requirements:

    ·  Master's Degree in related discipline

    Experience Requirements:

    ·  5 years directly related experience

    Physical Demands Requirements:

    ·  Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. May require walking or standing to a significant degree or requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or may require working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of materials is negligible.
