ATD NM Events

We extend an open invitation to all New Mexico professionals to join us at any and all of our events which include professional development and casual Meet & Greets.

It is our objective to provide everyone a safe learning, sharing, and training environment. Our vision of a better New Mexico can only be fulfilled when we are inclusive and welcoming.

    In the session, we will cover:

    • Tips to getting an EQ training program off the ground
    • Training solutions for organizations/teams that build foundational EQ skills
    • Training options for individual professionals that build EQ foundational skills

    Cost: Free for members. $25 for Non-Members.

    • Since it is ATD Members Month, all chapter members are invited to bring one guest for FREE to this event. In order to receive the free guest price, you must register your guest at the same time as you register yourself.
    • We will be offering 2 giveaways! The first one will be a special giveaway just for members and the second giveaway will be for all attendees. You must be present to win.

    Who is this event for?

    This is a great session for those in charge of training or employee development programming, trainers/facilitators who expect to lead an EQ session in the near future, professionals looking to sharpen their EQ skills, or consultants looking for a new EQ skill-building solution for clients.


    About the speaker

    With over 14 years of experience in Talent Development, Nicole Smith has worked in multiple industries including government contracting, banking, education, and nonprofit, but always in her little slice of paradise where she could champion organization culture and people development.

    Prior to starting her own business, Nicole was the Director of Learning & Development at the National Wildlife Federation.

    Now as the founder of Talent Development Talk Story, Nicole provides Talent Development expertise to fractional and consulting clients.

    Nicole earned her Master’s of Education in Training & Development from Pennsylvania State University, is a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, DISC Certified Trainer, and ELI Certified Instructor of Civil Treatment.

    An ardent believer in investing in her local professional community, Nicole currently serves as the president of the ATD NM chapter. She also served on the ATD Hawai’i Board in 2016.
