Improvisational Thinking: Taking it Outside of the Box

Welcome to the Conceptual Age – The Age of Whole Brain Thinking

When it comes to business, the rules have changed dramatically. Our traditional “business brains” have not. The good news is that our brains are like software – they can be reprogrammed through deliberate practice. And the tool that can provide that practice is improvisation.

Using improv, the brain reclaims its innate agility and mental nimbleness. Using improv, you can develop the ability to “think on your feet”. If you are a facilitator, trainer, leader, teacher, coach or member of a team, improvisation is a tool that will help you:

  • Create teams that share ideas and collaborate more effectively
  • Come up with the best solutions to challenging problems
  • Get and keep participants engaged
  • Stay productive in the face of change
  • Ramp up your creative mojo

Join Jennie Ayers for this half day, experiential workshop on improvisational thinking. Jennie is a former TV comedy writer and current certified coach and senior partner with BoldWork, an organization development company. Dress comfortably.  Experience insightful discoveries…and come prepared to have FUN!
