2026 ATD NM Board & Volunteer Opportunities
Board of Directors Positions - To help us better serve our NM Talent Development community, we are looking to fill SIX board roles for 2026.

IMPORTANT: All board roles are unpaid, volunteer positions which is why are looking to build a robust board with a total of 10 positions (4 current board members are returning in 2026). The idea is that if we can get more board members, then each person's volunteer time is manageable.
Vice President (VP) of Strategic Partnerships - This role spearheads chapter sponsorship and any fundraising efforts for the year.
Vice President of Professional Development (VP of PD) - Spearheads our chapters’ professional development efforts and communication with members.
Vice President (VP) of Events - Serves as the chapter’s key planner for 6-8 professional development events and 4 Meet & Greet events over the course of the year.
Vice President of Administration (VP of Admin) - Serves as the chapter’s main administrative support by taking notes at board meetings, serving as the key organizer of the chapter CARE application, acting as liaison with ATD National, and ensuring we stay on top of chapter administrative requirements.
Vice President (VP) of Finance - Manages the operational finances of the chapter. This includes creating an annual operating budget, managing the chapter’s bank accounts, maintaining our tax-exempt non-profit status, and ensuring that we maintain adequate insurance coverage.
Director of Social Media - Reports to the VP of Communications. To help us grow our ATD NM reach in the community, this role creates content, posts, and engages with replies/questions/DMs on our 3 social media platforms.
