Volunteer Opportunities

There are many ways to get involved with ATD New Mexico — from board leadership to lending a hand at a single event. Every hour you give helps us build a stronger talent-development community across the state.

Other Ways to Volunteer

Can't commit to a board position but still want to help? These roles are flexible — give what you can.

Event Speaker

Propose your own topic (or we'll suggest one). We just ask that professional-development topics align to the ATD Capability Model.

Content Contributor

Write newsletter articles, design event flyers, or create short videos for social media.

Website Support

Assist the VP of Technology in keeping the chapter website up to date.

Events Support

Help plan and run events (even just one!), create flyers, or greet guests at in-person gatherings.

Something Else?

Have another idea for how you'd like to contribute? Tell us — we'd love to hear it.

What board members commit

  • A monthly one-hour board meeting on a weeknight (Mon, Tue, or Thu) via Zoom.
  • An annual in-person strategic planning session in Albuquerque (about 2.5 hours, usually in January).

What board members get

  • Free ATD NM chapter membership, renewed for you each year you serve.
  • The option to have your workplace listed on our Sponsors page.
  • A chance to grow your leadership skills, expand your network, and give back to the NM community.
