    Technical Training Specialist

    Job Description

    As part of the NSG Technology Development team, you will be responsible for the identification, development, and delivery of technical learning and development initiatives for NSG's Fab 11x team.

    Your work will enable NSG engineers across sites to quickly gain the skills and acumen required to advance Intel's future technologies. Additionally, you will collaborate with technical leaders across business groups to develop innovative learning solutions that affect essential transformation across Intel.


    Job Responsibilities:
    - Develop and deliver a roadmap of technical learning solutions that build critical technical capabilities for teams across the Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group (NSG) Technology Development organization, focusing on teams at the Fab 11x site
    - Partner with stakeholders, business group leaders, and HR partners to identify and prioritize technical gaps and to translate those knowledge and skill gaps into technical learning solutions aligned to business strategies
    - Partner with subject matter experts to design and implement a variety of learning solutions, including instructor-led, virtual, and web-based courses, events/conferences, and job aids
    - Create and manage an online portfolio of technical training resources for teams across NSG
    - Maintain consistent communication with key stakeholders regarding program metrics and progress

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Learning Methodologies and Technologies: Demonstrated success and experience in developing and delivering training content that follows instructional design principles
    • Be comfortable performing a variety of functions ranging meeting with senior/VP-level stakeholders one day to facilitating training the next day (willing to work at both strategic and tactical levels)
    • Project Management: Ability to plan, organize, and manage resources for successful completion of program goals; ability to work autonomously and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously with matrixed, geographically-distributed teams and business groups
    • Communication skills: Employ strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to listen, question, interpret, and clarify in business and technical terms; ability to articulate and create succinct messages for technical audiences at varying seniority levels
    • Results orientation: Ability to proactively anticipate customer needs and possess a track record of delivering results and seeking innovative approaches to completing work
    • Stakeholder management: Ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships, clarify understanding of requester requirements (listening and critical thinking), and to influence the design and execution of learning strategies and solutions
    • Must know or be willing to learn the NSG business, how the functions fit together, how to build solutions that meet the needs of multiple groups, and coordinate across other learning managers; desire to learn high-level technical subject matter to speak confidently with business unit stakeholders
    • Tools/Platforms: SharePoint, Skype, Qualtrics, My Learning, ILN, IVP and familiarity with learning and content management systems desired. Experience developing learning content using Camtasia and/or Adobe Captivate/Presenter/Articulate is a plus.
    • Innovation/Learning: Must be willing to think outside the box, challenge the status quo, and understand future goals in order to create the most applicable, scalable, innovative training solutions for our stakeholders. Must also be willing to continuously seek out best practices and industry trends.
    • Bachelor's degree/2+ years' experience in development and delivery of learning solution and/or project management

    Non-Volatile Solutions Memory Group:  The Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group is a worldwide organization that delivers NAND flash memory products for use in Solid State Drives (SSDs), portable memory storage devices, digital camera memory cards, and other devices.  The group is responsible for NVM technology design and development, complete Solid State Drive (SSD) system hardware and firmware development, as well as wafer and SSD manufacturing.
